Emcee YOUR Charity Event

Pay it
Forward

35 value - - Posted May 17, 2017

BE ADVISED: it says 1 Simbi: in reality, I don't charge to Emcee charity gigs, Ever. SO it's actually 0.

Provide your CHARITY event (I stress this again: CHARITY event. FOR-PROFIT events, contact me for more info on packages available for that.) with a professional Master of Ceremonies.

...unless you're cool with an unprofessional one who can rock a mic like a boss. <-- I do THAT schtick too.

Massive gaming tournament raising funds for X? In.
50 people in an organized Run for curing X? There.
500,000 people sweatily squishing together, arms raised to the sky as their fave bands play a huge festival in support of X? I'm there with tassles, if necessary.
HIGH class art auction, raising money for X? I can either Suit up OR wear a formal Kilt package. I'm dead serious.

Emceeing has been a guilty pleasure of mine for decades now, and is one of those things where I'm truly allowed to spread my wings and shine a little, while usually helping ANY charity organization involved score some BONUS cash, since I'm relentless in pushing people into donating more money ;)

Training & Qualifications

Started Emceeing events when I was in my early teens. Seriously.

There's quite a few people on here who could back that up, actually ;)

I've hosted anywhere from a small 10 person affair, to 10's of thousands of people in a festival setting!

Availability & Preferences

NOT avail: Monday to Friday 1:00PM to 7:00PM

Everything else can be negotiated, just an issue of checking with my Wife's client load, and our sitter. :)

Trading Preference: Pay it forward – pass on the good deed!

About Ryan Lindsay

A man with a very weird assortment of talents... Voiceovers? Sure. Kitchen tips and recipes? Easily provided. Gluten-FREE Tips n tricks? <-- Got em. Balloon animals and lessons? YUP. BUT WAIT N...ANCY, THERE'S MORE! I'm a father, a radio personality (read: loser), I swear I used to play the guitar and sing... Huge gamer (mostly CONSOLE, and mostly SMITE lately...), and usually a decent human being. Usually. I've worked in radio since 2002, starting from the ground up, legit. My first real gig in radio was: Mascot. Big, smelly foam bear head. SUPER GLAM, RIGHT? Moved from my hometown of Ottawa to the bustling metropolis of Timmins, ON... then Fredericton, NB... back to Ottawa, out to Calgary, AB... THEN BACK TO OTTAWA AGAIN. What can I say? I Love it here. They seriously want 1400 characters on me? I'm at 800 something, and struggling. Now, I'm beginning to rethink my plan to write a book on my ludicrous experiences in my field. Maybe I'll have to make that one of the deals... ask me for the story behind one of the following, in exchange for a chip in simbi donation: - The guy who stabbed himself in the stomach to threaten us all. - The death threat turned court hearing - That time I put $5000 cash into a pet incinerator (True story. vid's still up. Brutal day.) - The co-host I found in an OD Coma. This, and SO MUCH more, all for 3 easy installments of 9.9fwaitaminute... No real money, Ryan. THERE. DID IT. 1450.HAshow more
