Trace Your Genealogy
35
Give me as much information as you have about your parents, grandparents, and earlier, and I will locate your ancestors, often providing dates and places of birth, death, and marriage. I will provide a pdf report of my research results, as well as a ged.com file that you can use to establish your own computerized family tree or add to the one you have already established. The report and ged.com will include the sources where I found the information. This is important if you need to get copies of documents for genealogy certification (Daughters of the American Revolution, Sons of the American Revolution, Descendants of Texas Rangers, Texas First Families, and similar pioneer certifications and organizations throughout the U.S.) I am setting an exchange rate of 35 simbi for each generation documented with as much information as can be located on the internet.
Training & Qualifications
I began with a genealogy course more than 40 years ago, and now the internet has revolutionized genealogy. When I began, it took me two months to find my grandmother as an infant in the 1880 U.S. census by searching reels of microfilm in a genealogy library. Today, I can locate that record on the internet in less than a minute. I have a natural gift for research, and my skills have been honed while I traced my own family back 15 generations and also created a database of over 40,000 interrelated people who were pioneers or were descended from pioneers in Blanco County, Texas. I have become familiar with a number of genealogy-related websites and the various types of records that are available from each.
