Learn to make Ojibwe Dreamcatcher
I am willing to teach anyone how to create a traditional peice of Native American artwork, how to choose branches and when or where to buy them. Show how to be creative with ideas and stretch the normal boundaries, I will explain why the dreamcatchers were made in history and story and how, showing a demonstration while helping answer any questions you may have and working with everyones needs. Also I will be able to teach a few simple techniques for easy fixes, starts and finishes . If in person all supplies will be provided if not you will need to supply or contact me to receive the supplies. We will work together to go through a step by step process of how to easily create this type of art each person is different and does it differently this course will help you understand easier ways for you as well as how and why to make dreamcatchers.
Training & Qualifications
I am First Nations from Batchewana First Nations in Sault Ste Marie Ontario. I grew up beading and crafting on the reserve with my family. I teach students on paddle trips to do dreamcatchers, taught at CCRR the dreamcatchers and other local facilities.
