Are you thinking of getting into chickens but don't know where to start? Or do you own chickens but are currently having an issue with them which you could use help solving? Then I may be the one to ask! I'm a long time chicken owner and breeder who at my peak cared for a free-range flock of two hundred and fifty for two and a half years. I know all about coops, predator proofing, rotational pastures, behavior, flock issues, quarantine, bio-security, diet, eggs, incubation, hatching, shipping, raising (in all seasons) general husbandry, breeds, general health issues, breeding, as well as butcher, processing, and cooking. I do *not* know anything about showing but I can answer questions on pretty much every other topic you could think of including clever hacks and fun building projects for feeders, roll-away nest boxes, rotational pastures, DIY incubators, and even how to take good photos of them! Ask away!
Training & Qualifications
I have owned chickens for around ten years. Ran a heritage poultry farm of two hundred and fifty chickens for two and a half years. I am a former breeder who has successfully hatched shipped eggs many many times.
Availability & Preferences
I'm very flexible and am usually free at least sometime during the day or evening.
