Tips for onsite designer interview

I've been invited in to a startup company onsite for a half day product designer work interview. Wanted to know if anyone has any good tips or open to a google hangouts chat about it? Thanks! :)

I'm a passionate user-centered designer and knowledge seeker at the heart. I thrive finding simple and creative solutions to complex problems. My interests have always lied at the intersection of ...humanity and technology. While pursuing a Music Degree, I found myself gravitating towards design. I taught myself the principles of visual and web design while I was trying to build my own website. After graduation I pursued a career in hospitality management and customer service out of my natural curiosity about people. Working in a solely human-centric profession has helped me develop deep empathy for people and it had become the foundation for my design decision-making process. It wasn't until I was on the verge of starting my own business when I realized that I've been doing user experience design all along. Designing solutions to solve problems is what gets me out of bed every morning, eureka! With my newfound epiphany, I made up my mind that I wanted to do user experience design full time. In October of 2016, I joined DesignLab’s UX Academy course, an intensive mentorship and project-based learning program. I have gained a solid understanding of the UX design process upon completion of this 520 hour program. I believed that I am where I am now because of the convergence of multiple different paths. My diverse background combined with design expertise is what sets me apart as a designer.show more
