You don't have to be a road bicyclist to complete 200+ mile bicycle rides of the Cascade STP (Seattle to Portland) or the RSVP (Ride from Seattle to Vancouver Party) in 2 days and other longer rides.
What you need is a good and steady pace, training and once you reach your ride capability for the events, it is 50% stamina, 50% psychology.
I will also teach you the essential gear for the ride, hand and voice signals and how to ride your bicycle defensively in a large group, while having fun.

Training & Qualifications
4 time back to back (2011 - 2014), STP rider 2 days, on a dual suspension mountain bike weighing at 26 lbs, on average 6 MPH - 8 MPH hills and 17 MPH flats. Total ride time (excluding 20 minute rest stops) achieved was 7 - 8 hours.
