What is Reiki?
Reiki is an old method of healing that involves stimulating the body's healing powers. The first records about it come from around 2500 years ago, from Japan, and now it becomes a very popular and extremely effective method of natural healing, used in all countries of the world. The word Reiki consists of two Japanese words: REI - which can be translated as Divine Wisdom or Higher Intelligence, and KI - which means Life Energy, love. So REI - KI loosely translated means: Spiritually directed life energy.
Reiki exists beyond all beliefs. Man's faith is his private matter and Reiki does not interfere with it. Therefore, this method is used by people of different cultures and religions around the world. It has three dimensions: physical, emotional and spiritual. They complement each other. On the physical and emotional level, Reiki helps in removing all pain, diseases, symptoms of stress, malaise or fatigue, eliminates depression, states of internal burnout, restores emotional balance, soothes and calms down. On the spiritual level, Reiki releases energy blockages, strengthens our life force, opens us to contact with our own heart, world and personal spirituality, often lost in everyday life.
The essence of Reiki is that by giving ourselves the love we come to inner and outer harmony, we feel happy.
