How to earn crypto if you're broke

I will talk to you for 30 minutes over Skype about the methods that I have personally used to acquire cryptocurrency. I have never taken money out of pocket and purchased crypto but I currently own some. They haven't made me rich (yet?) but they belong to me and I can keep them, trade them for more 'popular coins', sell them for regular money or whatever else I decide. The main methods I'll be covering are:
- Hive (and tokens based on it)
- Faucets
- Airdrops
I'll explain what I think is good or bad about each of these so you can decide what combination of them you're most interested in. I don't have any great advice on acquiring bitcoin directly but most coins can be traded for bitcoin relatively easily.
Training & Qualifications
I am someone who tries things out. I've been on Hive (formerly Steem) since 2017, I've dabbled in using faucets and I've received tokens in a few airdrops. These methods are simple enough that with a little investigation or direction most people can safely give them a try.
Availability & Preferences
Fridays. Almost all day long. You can ask me about most mornings too but Fridays are best.
