I'm an experienced freelance writer and editor who loves to meet people, barter, and help others. I'm also an avid traveller, a happily married wife since 2006, and a homeschooling mother of three children born in 2010, 2012, and 2014.

I have an extensive background in various fields, as I have been working since 1997 in various jobs, often simultaneously. I have been a lifeguard, an adult swimming lessons instructor, a retail sales clerk, a call centre operator, a teacher, a Registered Kinesiologist, a personal trainer, a writer, an editor, and the list goes on. I also served 7 years in the Canadian Naval Reserves as a military clerk.

Aside from my professional experience, my travel experience is also extensive. I've lived in 3 different countries, and our family has had the chance to do some wonderful travelling. Before we had children, my husband and I toured for 2 months around Canada and the US, sightseeing during the day and swing dancing at night (swing dancing is how we met). We cycled 557 kilometers with our kiddos when they were 6, 4, and 2. And we spent 9 months between 2018 and 2019 travelling in an RV all over the US and Canada.
