There are 12 nutrients essential for the growth of a healthy plant. We will go through them and I will explain what sources of fertilizer can be applied for each of the nutrients as well as the function of each nutrient inside of the plant. I will also explain nutrient lockup, a condition in which the nutrient is present but is not available to the plant. In addition, how to read a fertilizer label will be covered so that you can get the biggest bang for the buck.
This would be aimed at a novice but I can also just as easily have a more in-depth conversation with someone who is more knowledgeable. I am also quite flexible, we can focus on the plant nutrition side or the chemistry side if you prefer.
Training & Qualifications
I have been formulating liquid and powdered fertilizer blends for over 12 years. I understand what proportions of each nutrient are required by the plant as well as the potential incompatibilities with each other.
