Harp Lesson
40
30 minute harp lesson. You do not need a harp if you have questions about harps! Lessons can be through videochat on Zoom or in-person if you are local.
What is your main goal in learning to play an instrument? Singing and playing? A certain type of music? Improv? Have something specific you want to learn? Reading music, theory, chords, modes... Ask away! I love questions!
Have a very small harp? No problem! I can still teach you a lot about music and how to fit a melody on your small harp! (The smallest harp I have is 16 strings, but I have arranged music for 12 strings.)
STEP 1: Propose a Deal. Ask any questions you have. Tell me what type of music you like. Let me know your experience with harp.
STEP 2: Please schedule online here:
www.SanisiSchedule.as.me/simbi
(Central USA timezone)
STEP 3: I confirm the deal.
STEP 4: Have lesson through Zoom videochat meeting.
STEP 5: Pay Simbi.
(There is a limit to the number of Simbi lessons I will schedule within a month. A Simbi lesson needs to be completed before scheduling another Simbi lesson. )
P.S. If you have a lyre, it must be diatonic for this service. Message me if you don't know what that means.
Training & Qualifications
I am a music teacher. However harp is not my primary instrument; I am teaching harp to gain experience as a harp teacher! (I am an experienced piano teacher.)
I started learning the harp a few years ago and I need to gain some experience in teaching it.
If you want to learn pedal harp or become a concert harpist, please start with a more experienced teacher! This is for those who can't afford lessons, and know zilch about music or harp technique.
Availability & Preferences
Check my online scheduler regarding open times: www.SanisiSchedule.as.me/simbi (USA Central time zone.)
These are stand alone lessons. If you would like to reserve a lesson time (weekly or fortnightly), you would have to pay regular tuition.
