Paint or art your dead loved one
36
Let me memorialize your favorite grandma who passed away or your old dog! Or maybe just something you're missing? I work best when you are in the picture too.
Certain kinds of pictures really motivate me. I love immersing myself in a struggle someone else had, and turning it into something beautiful. So show me that picture you have of when your dog ripped up your favorite book, or when your dad was hard at work and annoyed grilling burgers in the rain for your family. Show me something that depicts intense love in the form of giggles, kisses or strife.
I want to see a picture that really reminds you of the best thing you love about someone, or maybe from some despicable event that may not have been funny then but might be now, if you somehow got a picture of it. Maybe something weird you wouldn'treally imagine seeing made into a painting or work of art. I can make you smile, or cry and then smile later.
I find the most motivation doing things like this for my loved ones (even though most of the appeal might be the factor of surprise.... but still.) There is something so appealing and healing to me about giving focused attention to someone who's moved on for a while. The best is when it becomes one of their favorite items.
We can negotiate other details like size of piece and medium together, depending on materials I have on hand and what you'd like.
