It is the power of our habits that perpetuate the dissatisfaction that many of us have with health and well-being aspects of our lives. So we default to our set habits, even when we know those habits make us feel lousy disempowered victims. Without the right (individually tailored, personalized) support and accountability, this dysfunctional cycle will continue and in many cases, get worse.
Doctors, dietitians and other practitioners are the experts specialized in helping you to cope with the consequences of your habits and lifestyle. They can give you information, medication and advice, but helping you to take charge, stay motivated and following through with you to get the lasting results by overcoming your long held habits, (while having fun doing that!), is beyond the scope of their field.
