Parenting Advice From Mom of Five
5
If you have kids, chances are you have questions too. Raising children is the hardest but most rewarding job on the planet. Let's face it, nobody has all the answers, and sometimes our kids do, say or ask something that leaves us baffled.
How do I explain to my seven year old that the hamster died? At what age do I need to have "the talk" with my child? Why does my two year old put his hands in his diaper? How do I find a good babysitter? What makes an appropriate cold lunch for school? What kinds of chores are appropriate for my child? What are good options for healthy after-school snacks?
I have five kids from three to fifteen, and while I don't pretend to be perfect (all parenting is a learning curve I believe), if your child is ten or under, chances are I can offer you some scrap of advice from my own experience. As an added bonus, three of my children are on the Autism spectrum (Aspergers), so if you are also parenting a high-functioning child, let me know what you are struggling with and I will do my best to help.
I will answer up to three advise questions. Let me know what I can help you with!
